Keep track of Bolo as he goes on the trail and ventures outside the training pen and shows up anywhere from elementary schools to television appearances! Here are just some of the things where we get involved. so let’s go …On the Trail!
Appearance in the full length movie “A Gunfighters Deal”
Bolo was tapped to be part of the filming of “A Gunfighter’s Deal”! As multiple horses were utilized for this film. Bolo is credited as an actor and wrangler (Horse trainer) for the movie. Great movie Directed by R.J. Hendricks II starring Jessie Kove and Terry Kiser! The cast and crew, and of course the horses, were absolutely wonderful!
Appearance in the short film “The Hanging of William Cane”
We had a great opportunity to appear in the movie The Hanging of William Cane! It was so much fun working with a great cast and crew.
After the Mounted Shooting demonstration at the 2021 Hillsborough County Fair Rodeo, we caught up with Les McDowell at Cowboy Camp! Les is fantastic producer and actor. Les is the creator of the Nominated Best Series/Family Friendly film “Dry Creek”!
Les is also a cowboy poet and a pretty good trick roper! We had a blast!!
FOX 13 Covers the Peace Love Mustangs Rescue Facility
Fox Channel 13 Tampa came out to the new mustang rescue facility “Peace-Love-Mustangs, and learned about what it takes to rehabilitate and train wild mustangs.
Bolo Presents a Virtual Presentation for the Great American Teach-In
Due to the social restrictions this year, our 5th annual visit to The Great American Teach In was presented in a virtual format! The silver lining is even though we couldn’t be there in person, the virtual presentation could be shared with several schools simultaneously!
Bolo and Montana had the pleasure of appearing for a fourth time at Cowboy Up Ministries assisting with a demonstration. Bolo joined Skipper in the round pen for some fun training comparisons!
Our 4th year at the Great American Teach In
Our 4th year of participating in the Great American Teach – In! This year we were at Warren Hope Dawson Elementary in Riverview. This was the first time some of these kids have ever seen a horse “in person”. Everyone got to rub Mesa’s nose (even the shy ones) and had a great Q&A from the audience! The kids learned about horses, and I got to see the joy in their eyes! … I LOVE my job!!
Bolo & Mesa at Rodeo Fest
More News & Events! Appearing back at Rodeo Fest August 2019 in Tampa Florida performing a mounted shooting rifle demonstration! When I’m not training horses, Mounted Shooting is one of my fun activities I enjoy with my horses! I’ll be riding Mesa in this demo.
Sometimes the more I learn, the more I realize how much I don’t know! A good trainer will take every opportunity to improve!

Appearing on the Fox Network Channel 13
Real Time Horsemanship has partnered with Free Spirit Rescue in efforts to assist with training horses received by the rescue. Providing good foundation training to each of these horses will greatly improve the success of each adoption.
Bolo & Doc participating in the Obstacle Challenge sponsored by the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Mounted Posse. All proceeds go to the Special Olympics program!
